History

Avista Partners was founded in early 2007 as an independent investment bank focusing exclusively on the media sector.

In 2008, Avista expanded its industry focus to include the luxury/lifestyle sector. Both industries work with highly sensitive proprietary assets, and the companies are often still owned/managed by the founder, or the founding family. Both industries are also enjoying significant growth worldwide and a consequent increase in interest and familiarity by investors.
